Let me explain. Words in a song are so much easier to learn than trying to read a book. This is because words in a song include rhythm, rhyme and patterns. Once the learner is able to sing the song, he/she is able to sing along in the book, even if the learner is a non-reader or non-English speaking. At this point there is an unforgettable A-HA moment for the learner, "I can read this story". What a wonderful moment this is for children and adults.
The combination of music and language provides a strong stimulus in the brain that helps make stronger connections between neurons. Of course, connections are called: synapase. With stronger neuron connections, learning comes easier for children and adults.
Finally, Animalations books are available as interactive itunes apps for ipads and soon will be downloadable on iphones. And..... before long, available on Android phones. Watch for Animalations page on itunes in a week or so(first week in August 2011).
